About converting Parquet to HTML

The markup is deliberately bare: <table>, <thead> with one <th> per column, and <tbody> with one <tr> per row. There are no classes, inline styles or scripts, so it picks up your site's CSS and passes most HTML sanitizers used by CMS editors and email tools. Add a class to the <table> tag if your stylesheet needs one.
Like the other text outputs, the HTML table covers the first 1,000 rows. A table that long is heavy to render in an email client, so filter or aggregate in the SQL Query tool first. Values are escaped, so a product name like <Pro> & Co shows as text rather than breaking the page or injecting markup.

A small orders export with an ID, a customer name, a date, an amount (one missing) and a true/false flag, converted with the default settings.

</table>What changes when you convert Parquet to HTML
- Column names become <th> cells in the header row, in Parquet schema order.
- Every value becomes the text of a <td>. Numbers are not formatted, so 1200 stays 1200 and a DECIMAL stays 249.50.
- The characters &, <, > and " are escaped as HTML entities in both headers and cells.
- NULL becomes an empty <td></td>, as for the amount on order 1004.
- Timestamps show as 2026-03-02 09:15:00 in UTC, and struct cells show as JSON text. Flatten or format those columns in the SQL Query tool first.
Your file is processed locally in your browser and is never uploaded. The free limit is 50 MB per file; larger files work if your device has the memory for them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I paste the table into an email?
Yes. Most email clients accept a plain HTML table. Keep it short, since Gmail clips messages over about 100 KB, and add inline styles for borders if you want them because email clients ignore most external CSS.
Is the output safe to embed in my page?
Cell values and headers are HTML-escaped, so text from the Parquet file cannot add tags or scripts. The output contains only table markup.
How do I format numbers with thousands separators?
The converter writes raw values. Format them in the SQL Query tool first, for example format('{:,}', units_sold), and convert the result, or format them in your page with JavaScript.
