The service
SmartQueryTools provides free, browser-based tools for converting, querying, and transforming data files. All file processing happens locally in your browser. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Provided as-is, no warranty
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that any conversion, query result, or other output will be accurate or complete. Verify the output before relying on it.
Your data and your responsibility
You are responsible for the files you process with these tools, including having the necessary rights to use them, and for keeping your own copies. Because processing runs on your device, we never receive your files and cannot recover data lost during use.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service. In particular, do not send automated, excessive, or otherwise abusive traffic to the site or its API endpoints (such as the dataset search proxies), attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may block traffic that we consider abusive.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SmartQueryTools and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the site — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The tools are free; your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using them.
Changes and discontinuation
We may add, change, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time, without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
